Our goal is to help assure that your family members are properly immunized against vaccine-preventable diseases. We encourage you to use these resources to better understand vaccine recommendations and requirements.
COVID-19 Vaccine
CMC offers the COVID-19 vaccine to our patients aged 12 and older. You can schedule an appointment by calling your CMC Primary Care office, or ask your provider about getting the shot at your next visit.
There are many vaccine locations across the State offering free first dose and second dose appointments, and many locations offer walk-in service without the need for an appointment.
Seasonal Flu Vaccine
Influenza vaccines, often called flu shots, are vaccines that protect against the influenza viruses that research indicates most common during the upcoming season.
Everyone six months of age and older should get an influenza (flu) vaccine every season.
Most flu vaccines are given with a needle, usually in the arm, but there also is also a nasal spray flu vaccine.
Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccine
Wouldn’t it be great if we had a vaccine to help prevent cancer? Oh wait, we do and it’s 90% effective!
The Human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine helps prevent six different types of cancer—the most common being cervical cancer in women and oropharyngeal (oral/head and neck) cancer in men.
This vaccine has been proven to be safe and effective through 15 years of ongoing use in the US, and multiple studies with millions of participants in several countries.
It is most effective the earlier it is given (preferably before high school)—so don’t delay! Talk with your child’s Primary Care Provider (PCP) about this vaccine today! Don’t have a PCP? Call the Catholic Medical Center’s Access Line at 603.314.4750 to help you find one.
